Resort Video Guide

We were in OC for St. Patrick%26#39;s Day and I did not see the Resort Video Guide. I love watching the OC channel it is nice seeing the local advertising. And Batman talking about what is happening each week and who has specials. Does anybody know the story ?

Wow, I%26#39;ll be bummed when I tune to Channel 12 next time I%26#39;m in town. My guilty pleasure was always Barry ';The Stallion'; Streib--a celebrity in his own mind--and his sports show, which used to rotate with 1/2 hour of nonstop commercials. I guess that wasn%26#39;t generating the kind of viewership Comcast was hoping for.

Fear not, I%26#39;m sure the cable networks are peppered with all the local O.C. ads you could possibly want.

If you%26#39;re looking for food/drink specials and event calendars, any of the readily-available freebie beach papers should suffice.

The Resort Video Guide is alive and well with DJ Batman (aka Mike Beatty) being the main attraction with the ';This Week in Ocean City'; series.

I live in Ocean Pines, just across the bay from Ocean City and our cable provider is Mediacom. I just saw Batman and RVG on this weekend and with Mediacom RVG is on cable channel 36. Ocean City%26#39;s cable provide is Comcast and after doing a search for channel line-up in the Ocean City zip code of 21842 the Comcast website says RVG is on channel 20.

So, don%26#39;t worry, RVG and Batman are still on. Perhaps in the off season ';This Week in Ocean City'; does not repeat as often as it does in the summer and that%26#39;s why you missed it.

I grew up in Shrewsbury, PA. I haven%26#39;t been in that area for about 5 years. How much have things grown up around there?

Resort video guide is on channel 20. I heard the Stallion now resides in Florida. I read somewhere that he was in some ';nasty trouble';. Probably from losing alot of money on sports, ponies, and golf in the Maryland area.

They had a new sports-show called the Edge that comes on 30 minutes past the hour. Lets just say, those 2 guys were pretty awful.

Woh, I got a little worried for a minute. I enjoy watching the Resort Video Guide. I get to see what I%26#39;m missing as I sit with the kids with a beer in hand. Don%26#39;t worring, I enjoy that too.

Shrewsbury is getting developed they now have a Super Walmart,Home Depot, Hampton Inn and Cracker Barrel to name a few. We in New Freedom still do not even have a traffic light but a bunch of houses that are being built in the $600,000 range. Let me know if you want any more specific information.

Wow! I have to get back up there one of these days to look around.

Anyone got the scoop on the Stallion? What went down?

Him and his wife used to own that place Bay Cafe out on Rt. 54 close to Smitty McGee%26#39;s. They sold that almost two years ago to a condo developer. I had heard they moved down south somewhere after that.
