Best Western Flagship Hotel question.

I%26#39;m thinking of planning a vacation at Best Western Flagship Hotel early April and had a couple of question. I will be traveling with wife and two kids ages 4 and 2 months.

1. Is it good for the kids ( I know it has a indoor pool)

2. Is there nearby shops walking distance away? ( shops are less plentiful this end of the boardwalk )

3.Clean rooms (renovations this winter )

4.Good for the whole family

5. Would be Howard Johnosn 12 st be better

6. Would be Comfort Inn 5 st be better ( last two have indoor pools also )

I need to make a decision soon.

Best Western Flagship Hotel question.

The Best Western is an older hotel (I believe that it was built in 1961) that has seen its better days. I would try the Comfort Inn instead. It is a newer and nicer hotel closer to all the action. The hotel has two pools-an indoor pool and a very small outdoor pool (the recently added outdoor pool at the HJ isn%26#39;t much better). There are two buildings-an oceanfront building and the oceanblock building with the indoor pool. A continental breakfast is offered and children under 12 stay free! I am not sure what to say about the Howard Johnson as the few reviews that there are of the hotel on here are mixed. Of the three hotels that you are asking about, I think that the Comfort Inn would be the best choice. Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.

I stayed there in Sept for Sunfest and it was fine, clean and nice large rooms. The indoor pool is small but not bad. It is a little walk before you really hit any of the boardwalk stores.

The only reason I wouldn%26#39;t stay there again is I like to be down on the south end of the boards close to all the action.

Thanks for the imput, I made a surprise decision on staying at the Commander on 14 st. Has an indoor pool, shops near by and looks clean and comfortable.
