Visting in June from Australia.

Need to hire an compact size car for a week or two with unlimited mileage for travel to Sandusky OH, Erie PA and back to Rockville MD. Any suggestions for inexpensive companies to deal with in this area or even in the District?

They are usually the cheaper of the companies. All of them give you unlimited mileage. Although at Enterprise they have stipulations on what states you can drive to for the Unlimited mileage. I believe PA is one of those states just check it out. There shouldn%26#39;t be a need for you to go into DC to get a rental (rates will probably be more in DC anyway than Rockville). If you are in DC and want to leave from DC then there are 3 or 4 rental companies at Union Station (which is metro accessible) and several other companies throughout the DC Downtown city limits.

With a compact car I wouldn%26#39;t spend any more than $35.00 per day.

Thanks for your replies. I will be staying with friends in Garrett Park and am taking my godsons on a ';road trip'; to Cedar Point and then on to visit other friends in Erie. Trains are too expensive and buses take too long hence the car hire option. Will try the companies listed.
