My 17 year old son is due to train at Piney Point, MD. I can%26#39;t find any info for trains or bus, closest is D.C.
piney point mdThat%26#39;s a tough one--unfortunately, there are no trains and buses can%26#39;t go everywhere. The area you%26#39;re describing is too far for commuter buses from Washington and too small and isolated to get Greyhound-type service. If nobody on this forum can do any better, the closest definite I could find was the MTA commuter bus from D.C. to the town of California, about 14 miles away. I suspect one of the taxi services in nearby Lexington Park could do the rest.

Just out of curiosity, what do your son%26#39;s trainers suggest? Surely they deal with this on a regular basis and must have some private transportation arrangements available.
piney point mdThank you for the info tubman, his previous trainings were in places that he would be picked up at the airport, train or bus station.
I%26#39;ll contact the seamans school and get more info, didn%26#39;t get to that point yet. Thanks again.
