travel to DC

Will be in Baltimore for a wedding and want to spend a few days in DC. How do we get there? shuttle? rail?

Guess you can tell, I%26#39;m from the midwest (limited mass transit)

You can take the Marc train during the week, this is something that most of the workers in that area use who live north of DC to get to work everyday. Or you can Amtrak on the Weekends. These are the two easiest ways. You could rent a car but driving in DC can be a bother and then finding parking is an issue so why bother.

It%26#39;s only about 1 hour away. Once you get to the Amtrak Station at Union Station in DC, you simply use our Metro system. Very easy to use and will get you to all of your tourist attractions (along with some walking so bring walking shoes)
