We are planning a bachelorette weekend this summer and have several requirements as per the bride.
She would like to relax at the beach during the day and be able to walk to nightlife (dancing, etc.) at night. We are not familiar with OC, but it works for us location-wise.
Does this sound like someplace that would fit the bill?
Thanks!
Does OC fit the bill for us?
First we would like to know what age group your party will cover?
It might also be helpful to know what types of night life you enjoy.
Quiet drinks? Dancing music, crowds? Less crowded and any information you might provide.
Two of the most popular places for nightlife are Seacrets and Fager%26#39;s Island you could easily find places to stay near or around either or both of these nightclubs. They both have web sites where you can get a feel for the place.
OC is also full of smaller, local hangouts which would be open to your visit also.
I would think Summertime, Beach, nightlife, all can be found in OC and would certainly serve your needs.
Good luck, have fun, and be safe.
Any other questions feel free to ask..
Does OC fit the bill for us?
Ok, thanks for your response. We are a group of 10-15 girls in our late 20%26#39;s to early 30%26#39;s.
For nightlife, I guess a variety would be best. Dancing in a club would be ideal. Several of us are used to Hamptons crowds, so I don%26#39;t think crowds are too much of an issue.
The other option that has been suggested is Dewey. So I guess I%26#39;ll inquire about that, too.

With your ages and looking fun adult things to do then O.C. should satisfy your needs. Hang out at the beach or pool during the day and hit the pool bar (hotel has one) or walk up to the boardwalk to one of the many bars on the boards for a drink for Happy hour. Relax for a little then head out to Seacrets, Big Kahuna or Fagers for nightlife, or just hang out at the inlet where there is 3 lade back hangout bars with games inside.
I would say if Ocean City MD or Dewey Beach DE (the two are not that far apart) cannot satisfy your partying requirements, you would probably be even more disappointed elsewhere.
In both places you would find an abundance of fellow partiers in your age bracket. Sounds good you%26#39;ll be walking!!
Does forget Party Block for a variety of dance music and Salty Dogs on Coastal Highway and Purple Moose, Bad A** Cafe and Caribbean Pool Bar on the Boardwalk. - the trick will be finding a place to stay on or near the boardwalk for that many girls especially in the summer with 2 or 3 night minimums. Don%26#39;t wait too much longer to book! Also consider taking the bus - 2 bucks per person all day(24/7) or you can buy a book of 10 tickets for $15. get on the OC website for place to buy the book - MUCH safer than driving!
