Need help with hotel suggestions in Chevy Chase area

Hi All,

I%26#39;m not sure if this is this the right forum, but we

have sad news and need to fly into Maryland for a funeral for our dear Uncle who was as a second father to many of us.

We need some recommendations for hotels in the Chevy Chase area. We are a rather semi-large group fliying in from all over the country who prefers reasonable rates of course. We%26#39;ll be there for about three days, so we plan to rent a couple of cars and perhpas take a sanity day downtown to tour the lovely city.

Any suggestions for a decent clean hotel would be very

much appreciated.

Kind Regards,

Pentopaper

We are sorry for your loss.

We have stayed at the Embassy Suites Chevy Chase Pavillion. This is actually in Friendship Heights. It is located near the metro stop. The rooms are suites, which may help with group arrangements.

It is a nice hotel, and with the metro you have easy access into DC.

This sounds like a lovely suggestion--thanks so much for the

quick reply!

Oddly enough, I used to live in Maryland--was born and raised there.

But I%26#39;ve been out here in California for so long that I really don%26#39;t have any sense about hotels there. Indeed, when I would visit in the past, we would just stay with my Dad in Silver Spring. But he passed three years ago. And now this is his brother. It%26#39;s all a bit much, but we%26#39;ll

get through.

If I can ever be of help for folks heading this way to Southern California, let me know!

Kind Regards,

Pentopaper
