Planning on attending a night game in May. Any suggestions on seating? Didn;t really want to sit in the most expensive seats. Not an Oriole fan, just want to take in the stadium.
Camden Yards seats
Start by looking at the upper deck (300 level). The upper reserved between the bases (Sections 316-356) are your best value for decent seats at $15. The seats beyond the bases and towards the foul poles (upper reserved $13) aren%26#39;t all that much less, face straight out into the outfield (not towards home plate), so you%26#39;re contorting yourself just to see what%26#39;s going on. Once you get beyond the foul poles ($9), you%26#39;re simply too far out.
Camden Yards seats
don%26#39;t know who the O%26#39;s are playing, NY/ Boston are usually sold out games,,so I also would suggest buying tix on gameday. The O%26#39;s have a %26#39;scalp-free%26#39; zone for people to sell extra tix they may have. Its legal and u can usually barter on the tix price. The seller has to sell at face value or below...
The center field bleachers are a good deal and give you a good view of the park. I think they call them center field reserved or something like that now. They%26#39;re also right in front of the Eutaw Street corridor (Boog%26#39;s Barbecue, Bambino%26#39;s Pub, etc.).
I would also suggest the Eutaw Street Reserve seats (formerly the ';bleachers';). They%26#39;re not bleachers like Wrigley, they%26#39;re actual seats...but they%26#39;re cheap and located in a fun part of the ballpark.
If you%26#39;re coming to see the Sawx, I would recommend trying to buy tix ahead of time...if not, I agree with the other poster%26#39;s suggestion about the scalp-free zone.
Just bought tickets for a Red Sox game in August. I must of tried 6 or 7 different types of seats before they finally had 3 tickets. It goes so fast, with, you have 1 minute to complete this, and you have 3 minutes to fill this out, that I%26#39;m afraid I didn%26#39;t pay enough attention. I ended up with section 276, which looks good, Row BB, but after purchasing I noticed it said, limited view. Please tell me I didn%26#39;t make a big mistake. It will be a long drive and I wanted decent seats.
Here%26#39;s the view from Section 276, the ';obstructed view'; might be because of the foul pole.

Thanks for sharing. I think I can live with that. Heard it%26#39;s a great stadium, and since it%26#39;s so much larger than Fenway, I thought I%26#39;d have a chance to get some good seats. I%26#39;m sure we%26#39;ll have fun.
Now, I%26#39;m trying to find a decent hotel under $200 a night. Any suggestions close to the stadium?
The challenge for Red Sox and Yankee games, especially on the weekends, is that so many of the fans come from the visiting cities that it has the same effect as a major convention in creating demand for downtown hotel rooms. A lot of the downtown hotels are already sold out that weekend; others are in the $350 range.
Your best bet for a %26lt;$200 hotel is somewhere along the light rail line, which will take you right to the ballpark. I%26#39;d suggest one near the airport if you%26#39;re flying in, or on the northern side of town if you%26#39;re driving. Of if you want to stay downtown and are a little adventurous, try Priceline.
Whatever you do, there%26#39;s no harm in booking something early (even now) at your price that%26#39;s cancellable without penalty and keeping your eyes open for something better as summer rolls along. Lots of options on the Marriott website in the BWI area %26lt;$150.
As IrishFan noted, your seats may be considered obstructed because of the foul pole. But they%26#39;re also obstructed in that you won%26#39;t see any of the action that happens close to the wall in left to left-center field.
After reading alot of reviews and looking at many prices, can anyone comment on Brookshire Suites on Lombard St. It looks really nice for the price. Is it close enough to the park and Inner Harbor?
Can only speak to the location, which is right on the money. Not sure what kind of rate you%26#39;re seeing, it%26#39;s one of those that came up at the high end ($399) for Red Sox weekend.
