Need Some Hotel Help!!!!!

looking to stay in OC late July or early August. we are on a budget and are looking for something on the beach with a pool. we are travling with our 2 yr old son who loves the pool and ocean.

we would like to have a refride/microwave in the room.

any info on a nice/budget hotels would be great. any area you would think would be the best.

Hi, I do believe that I have a solution to your problem. You could go to beachwalkhotel.com The hotel is a family owned hotel right on 10th street and it%26#39;s only one building from the boardwalk. The owners live on the bottom floor and the atmosphere is excellent. They are very nice people and the hotel is very safe and clean. They strive to have a nice family hotel. Their prices are very reasonable also. I have a family of 5 and we go down there every year for 9 days over the 4th of July.

Another idea may be the Empress - I think it%26#39;s on 20th or 21st street and only about a half block from the beach - family owned and opperated - clean rooms with microwave and small fridge - clean pool. Just a short walk to the beach without crossing any streets - you can see the beach from some of the rooms.

I would check out The beachmark ..not sure of the exact street but it is 70 something. They have the largest pool in Oc and the rooms are reasonable and pretty nice..nothing fancy..but nice.

have to second the beachmark. I have never been there, but it fits your criteria. it is an older motel at 73rd street (i think??), they have excellent prices. they boast of ocean city%26#39;s largest outdoor pool and ocean city%26#39;s best breakfast restaurant (the general%26#39;s kitchen). good luck and have fun in OC! oh, yeah. it is an all efficiency motel, so there is a small kitchen in every room.

My Mother and I stayed at the beachmark hotel august of 06, great value!!! full sized refrigerator , stove, microwave. large pool , clean. Friendly staff , front desk staff friendly , good breakfast at restaurant. we had ocean view. Great Price! only drawback , no elevator , but hey if you are young , walking up one flight or even two is not too bad. if not ground floor rooms are for you. will be there this year also.
