Where are you booked now? That will give us some idea of your budget range at least...

Hotel suggestion for May

We are at the Days Inn Baltimore on Nat%26#39;l Pike. We just need a place to CLEAN place to shower and sleep. At a convention from 6 am till Midnight 2 days! The Inner Harbor was so expensive, plus we are booking late, so we looked out. Thanks! From:ddcile5

I meant a CLEAN room to shower and sleep. Not much time in the room so.....Thanks ddcile5

I see...wow...those are LONG days...

Look at the Linthicum/Airport hotels...they are close to the light rail...and have shuttles...

would also suggest tsaying out at the airport hotels and using one of the shuttles to get back and forth. I would not suggest coming back to a hotel on Balto National Pike on a bus that you would have to walk to from the bus stop. The hotel is really not great. You could also stay in the Hunt Valley area near the light rail station there. Nice suburban area with shopping, a couple of hotels and plenty of restaurants. I am not sure though how late the light rail runs though so you would have to take a cab and that would be expensive. Check the light rail schedule for their times. Check the Holiday Inn Express on Russell St near the inner harbor. It is in a industrial area and not much around it, but contrary to the ugly buildings around it , it is new and I have read really good things about it on trip advisor. They have a good shuttle bus setup and it would be close.

I found Quality Inn Baltimore.Reasonable and close to convention center. Any one stay there recently? Thanks ddcile5

I looked at tother suggestions and most rooms are over $100.00 a night. I know you need to pay for quality but we only need to shower and sleep. Thanks ddcile5

Is this the Quality Inn right off of 95 near Caton Ave? I have no knowledge of the hotel itself but the area is not horrible for what you need. You are going to have a rough time finding anything for less than $100 night, so you might be satisfied with this. It is in a commercial area/industrial area and there are not many ameneties around [ hotel restaurant, McDonalds, local bar and Wendys}. It seems that you will be gone from 6a-12m anyway and it is about 6 miles to the Convention Center. You will need to take cab, I think. There is a transit bus stop but I don%26#39;t think you should walking around after 12m to get to your hotel. I live about 5 miles from this hotel and I would not be roaming about after 12m but a cab ride to the front lobby would be fine.

Thank you for your help. It seems to be a very pricey time of yr........

I will keep looking and appreciate your help! Any other suggestions would be appreciated! Thankyou ddcile5

ddcile,

I just checked the Days Inn Inner Harbor/Convention center for your dates and it had rooms at $160 per night...I%26#39;d recommend you take that...if it%26#39;s still there when you check. Save the time and transportation costs and avoid the downcast dirt cheap motels on the edge of the city....
