Best Place to get Drunk

Any thoughts on the best places to get drunk? Since the bus goes everywhere, this makes the entire town a good option. Secrets is not a good choice based on their high prices and stupid policies on dress. Looking for places like the Bearded Clam and such.

Best Place to get Drunk

My wife and I love Buxy%26#39;s Salty Dog at 28th bayside. And last year had a great time in our hotel bar, Jimi%26#39;s 9th st Bar and Grill.

The Green Turtle is pretty cool, Brass Balls Saloon on the boardwalk is okay.

Depending on your age, you might check out the Paddock but it tends to be a much younger crowd.

There are tons of great places to party. Just find a place you like, stick around and enjoy it there instead of bar hopping.

As far as Seacrets goes, if you take care of the bartenders, they Will take care of you.

Thanks for the reply and for the good ideas. I understand on Secrets but we were not left in last year because my friend had an Eagles jersey on.

BJ%26#39;s on the water on Bayside.

Also I beleive Dorester st near the inlet there is 3 bars in a row you could hit. Red Snapper, Bearded Clam, can%26#39;t remember the 3rd one.Could try Purple Moose on the boardwalk and Plim Plaza has a great pool bar with live music.

You might want to hit the Party Block on 20th Street. (not sure if thats the exact street....it%26#39;s across from The Embers Restaurant)...it%26#39;s 3 clubs in one......

Party Block is on 17st, right beside Anthony%26#39;s, great foos there

That 3 in one club is it called the paddock? It%26#39;s good on friday nights in the summer. I think it is on 17th st. Bus takes you there.

I forgot FishTales during the day. 20 street bayside, great place for lunch and hangout watching the boats come in.

Big Peckers! I haven%26#39;t been there in years, but I always had a good time there.

what type of atmosphere do you like?

If you want to party (dance club) then the paddock is probably a good place to start (actually 3 bars in one)

Seacrets is very cool, but can be VERY crowded. If you like that type of experience, then maybe Fish Tales or Macky%26#39;s would be your style.

Additionally, each day of the week (not weekends) certain bars have ';deck parties'; I believe that Monday is Fager%26#39;s Island, Wed is BJ%26#39;s on the water, (i can%26#39;t remeber the other days)

If you like Margarita%26#39;s - try Tequilla Mockingbird in the Montego Bay shopping center on 130th.

MR Ducks and The Angler are both on the docks by the inlet. Both are nice to chill and watch the fishing boats roll in.

There are a half dozen different free local news papers filled with adds.

If you have specific type establishment, write back and i%26#39;ll try to help you out.

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. We went to the following places Saturday and actually liked them all, though we were really drunk by the end of the night after watching the NFL draft and drinking drafts all day.

Secrets- Not too crowded at 2PM. Overpriced compared to others

Salty Dog- Too many Steeler fans

Bootys- Great place, empty

Fish Tales- Fun place and crowded

Pickles Pub- Fun and seemed like a local crowd. Good Burgers

MR Ducks- Good bartender

Bearded Clam- Drunks and flashers. Not a bad combo

Cork Bar- More of the same
