Which Hotel?

Booked the Hampton Inn at Camden Yards and Residence Inn Inner Harbor,for April 25-27. Catching the game Wed night.

Which hotel would be a better location for three older women,as far as convenience ,to the Harbor and sightseeing for area attractions. Have a back problem,but can walk a couple of miles.

Also info on moderate priced restaurants,love crabs. Lastly we will not have a car.

This forum has been very helpful

Thankyou

Which Hotel?

Just stayed at the Hampton Inn @ Camden Yards. It is a great location for Camden Yards....directly across the street from the park. I walked from the inner harbor.....it is 4 city blocks from the harbor to the hotel. Easy walk. Note: the hotel is connected to one of the very popular bars called Pickles, so it can be a bit busy on game days. Depends on your preference.

I%26#39;ve not stayed at the Residence Inn, but by the looks of it on the map, I believe it is similar distance from the harbor.

Cabs are inexpensive in this area, so if your legs get tired, it is a convenient cab ride.

Place for crabs is on Pratt Street at O%26#39;Brycki%26#39;s. This is a must, but you need to take a cab to get there from the inner harbor. 10 min cab ride. This would be a very very long walk and some of the area wouldn%26#39;t be so nice to walk through. Spend the money on a cab and go enjoy Baltimore%26#39;s best REAL crab house.

l%26#39;ll simply ditto what duce1 said...your location is perfect, you%26#39;re nearby the shopping/harbor tourist attractions and Obrycki%26#39;s crabs are worth the cab ride down Pratt. However they are only open seasonally and I don%26#39;t know when they open for the season. Two possible backups for crabs in the general downtown area are Nick%26#39;s and Bo Brooks in Canton.

You%26#39;re pretty close to the usual chains for moderately priced food (Legal Seafood, Cheesecake Factory %26amp; PF Chang%26#39;s are all on Pratt). For local %26amp; moderate, try Phillip%26#39;s Seafood, Timothy Dean%26#39;s Bistro, or Fisherman%26#39;s Wharf. (Fisherman%26#39;s Whaf has a shuttle that picks up from the downtown area hotels).

don%26#39;t go to Bo Brooks, terrible service and food!

Would be quite cab ride, but Dundalk is the place for Blue Crabs! Costas has the best!

';don%26#39;t go to Bo Brooks, terrible service and food! ';

Can you tell us a bit more about your experience? I%26#39;ve been to the old location tons of times and it was always good, both the service and the crabs. I%26#39;ve only been to the Canton location once and it was fine.

What kind of service issues did you have? What was wrong with the food?
