Its our first trip to oc... with 11 %26amp; 13 yr olds/ The boardwalk sounds very long. Where would you suggest they would like especially at night?

At the south end of the boardwalk where all the amusement rides, games and attrations are located. The boardwalk starts at the very southern end of OC and runs north 2.5 miles to 27th St. The lowered numbered streets are closer to all the action.

yes, the more you get into the higher number (15 street and above)it is less shops and stores, and more hotels.
