Transportation from Bolger Center

I will be staying at the Bolger Center for a class and am wondering how far to the nearest public transportation and are there any good restaurants near the center? Thanks

Their website says they have a free shuttle to the Bethesda Metro station - there are a ton of places to eat near there.

I%26#39;ve only been to this place about 10 years ago for a conference, sorry I can%26#39;t offer much more specific info than that.

You might try posting this on the DC board, there are some folks from Potomac that post there.

Public transportation: The county Ride-On bus #38 stops right there and connects with the White Flint Metro station. (The Metro will easily get you to Amtrak at Union Station or Reagan National airport.)

As for restaurants, I can highly recommend Normandie Farm (about a mile from Bolger), although you may find it to be more formal and pricey than what you%26#39;re looking for. Otherwise, the bus will take you by a small strip center with a good Chinese restaurant, to Montgomery Mall (major shopping destination with chain restaurants and food court) as well as Rockville Pike, which is a major commercial corridor with lots of restaurants in all cuisines and price ranges. What are you looking for diningwise?

Thanks for your reply- just looking for something fun and casual for a few evenings away from the Bolger Center classroom. We will be traveling into D.C. for the weekend to try and see as much as possible in our two days off!
