Hi, We are considering booking a stay for 2 nights in late April at the BWI Country Inn %26amp; Suites - main reason is to use the pool the day before we fly out of BWI. Pool doesn%26#39;t open until 3pm and we were wondering if that hotel is near something to do - they said they have a free shuttle that will take us to a mall near there - any advice would be good - on that and the hotel and pool - thanks.
Stuff to do near Country Inn BWI?
Probably should update - we will have 3 children with us!

Most of the hotel clientele in this area either have business in the nearby corporate office parks or are using it to catch a morning flight out. Not many are planting themselves there with family for two days looking for things to do.
That having been said, if a mall is your family%26#39;s cup of tea, you should be fine at Arundel Mills. It%26#39;s easy to kill the better part of a day there. It%26#39;s huge and has plenty of entertainment (movies, Dave %26amp; Busters) and restaurant options, in addition to all the shopping.
As to whether you can fill 2+ days of your family%26#39;s time effectively between the hotel room, swimming pool and a huge shopping mall, you%26#39;re probably in a better position to judge based on what your family enjoys. I know I couldn%26#39;t with mine.
Thanks for the info on the mall - it%26#39;s actually just 1 day there - we check in late the first night.
If you have a whole day, you would have plenty of time to visit Baltimore. The kids would love the Aquarium, The Maryland Science Center, and the American Visionary Arts Musuem. Even just walking around the harbor is fun. You could also take them on a water taxi to Ft. McHenry. There%26#39;s a great little movie they can watch at the visitor%26#39;s center and lots of space outside to let them run around. My son LOVES to visit Baltimore.
Arundel Mills Mall (195 to 295 to 100)
Patapsco State Park (right off 195, 5 mins from hotel)
Take Light Rail into Baltimore and walk around Inner Harbor, take water taxi to Ft. McHenry.
