SGNA Convention Transportation.

We are attending the SGNA Convention May 21-23rd. We are staying at the Days in Baltimore and need to get to the Baltimore convention Center each morning and back again. Any suggestions? Taxis, Bus?

Any info would be greatly appreciated. From:ddcile5

Not sure what you mean. Do you mean the Days Inn? In which case the one in downtown Baltimore is about 300 feet from the Convention Center so no problem there! Or do you mean somewhere else?

No, it is on National Pike 20 minutes out! Thanks!

ddcile5,

I hate to say this: The suggestion is to find another lodging....

This property gets horrendous reviews, is in a mildly downcast city line/suburban location...and transportation is inconvenient... Nothing wrong with the area...it just isn%26#39;t very convenient in any way for downtown travelers.

That said...there is an express bus that stops right outside the hotel...the 150 Ellicott City/Downtown Express. It doesn%26#39;t go directly to the Convention Center, but it gets close...running on Baltimore Street. Takes about 25 minutes...A taxi is probably about 10-15$

Nearby services are abundent, but the range is none too broad. Restaurants in the area range from McDonald%26#39;s to Popeyes...to Checkers and Chic-Filet....Name a chain, it%26#39;s there.

There is a Vietnamese restaurant, Pho 1, across the street....I%26#39;m not familiar with it.
