Preakness Weekend

We will be going to the Preakness next weekend. I know Baltimore has great restaurants, but I was curious if someone could suggest one that would be for casual attire and something other than a chain. Thanks for a reply

Preakness Weekend

I guess it would help if it were clear what you mean by casual: T-shirt and cut-off jeans? Men in khaki pants and a polo shirt?

Also, in what part of the city will you be staying?

Khaki pants and polo shirt would be adequate for 95% of the city%26#39;s restaurants.

Preakness Weekend

Sorry about that, we are staying in Inner Harbor and it will be polo shirts and khakis.

I%26#39;ll give some seafood recommendations since that%26#39;s my favorite. I like Nick%26#39;s Inner Harbor Seafood in South Baltimore. If you want to walk check out Inner Harbor East %26amp; Little Italy In Fells Point, try Peters or John Stevens and Canton in Canton try Mamas on the Half Shell..

Little Italy - you can%26#39;t really go wrong. Lots of great italian choices. Plenty of pub grub all around. The Bicycle, in Federal Hill has some interesting choices. It really depends on the type of food you are looking for.

Preakness, as you can imagine, will be PACKED. Also, it is not in the best of neighborhoods. You%26#39;ll be fine, as long as you follow the crowd and don%26#39;t try to cut through the side streets looking for short cuts. The infield is one huge college party.
