Parking around Camden Yards for a game

We%26#39;ll be down for the Red Sox games in August. Does anyone know the best place to park that is reasonable? We don%26#39;t mind walking abit but don%26#39;t want to walk through a rough part of town at night with the kids. I heard it can be shady but I don%26#39;t know. I%26#39;ve never been to Camden Yards and we are staying in Whitemarsh. Thanks!

While I am not sure how much is costs (I believe it is ~20) it is cheaper than getting towed! Street parking is prohibited in most areas during game time. Signs are posted and you will be towed. (I work at S Paca by the CBL Lot and I have watched it happen) I would consider these lots to be generally safe walking to and from your car on a game night. The usual precautions of being in the city would apply. The police have a presence everywhere.

Thank you very much for the information.

Msia52,

There are tons of parking facilities around Camden Yards and they feature an ';event'; price...maybe $10. The ones closest are more expensive of course, but all are OK for the event.

As far as I can see, the map provided features Orioles lots for season ticket holders...but the general public parks in the public garages all over downtown. I like the one on Eutaw and Saratoga...4 blocks north of the stadium...

Don%26#39;t be too concerned...you%26#39;ll be with massive crowds and cops are on every corner for about 6 blocks around the park...

Thanks

I work at University of Maryland Medical Center about 2 blocks from stadium. The Pratt St garage on the corner of Pratt and Penn St is one of the hospital garages that they open up to the public to park on game days. Safe, walkable area right next to the stadium. You also walk right past Babe Ruth House on the way. There is also a small private lot that the owners open up on game days right across the st. from the garage.

I second this idea. It%26#39;s also very easy to get to coming into the city if you%26#39;re not familiar with things, and right across from the Camden Pub if you want a burger and a beer before the game.

If you%26#39;re driving into Baltimore from I-95 you get on I-395 South and take the Martin Luther King Blvd ramp to a right turn on Pratt Street and the garage is on the left.

You guys are great! Thanks for all the parking tips.
