Need Help with one day in Baltimore.

Family of 4 will be coming in on a Friday for baseball game. We will arrive mid morning (coming in from Philly (I95). We are not from Philly just headed back home and want to stop by for a baseball game. I need help on a good place to park (all day and for game)and something to do close to Camden Yards (kids ages 8 %26amp; 13). I could take some type of city transport if needed. Any help thanks?

Jeff,

Parking is generally done in one of the many garages near Camden Yards/Inner Harbor...rates vary, but the rule of thumb is the closer to the water and to the stadium, the higher the price. Look at a garage off Lombard Street perhaps....or near Lexington market, a few blocks north of the Yards.

The vast majority of ';amusements'; for the kids are right there in the Inner Harbor...The Aquarium, The Science Center, The ESPN Zone, Hard Rock...Babe Ruth Museum, and Geppi%26#39;s...It%26#39;s all quite walkable...but it might be fun to use the water taxis too...You will have no need for any additional transportation.

Thanks for the info, has we will have only one day with game that night it should no problem finding something to do. We will getting back on I95 after the game and head a little ways south for a room. Any ideas on traffic after game or a place to park that may be more of straight shot to I95. With a name like Travelin%26#39;Prankster it may not be best to take info from, but I will take my chances, hehehe

lol...

The exit from the city to the south is usually pretty easy...Howard St...on the east of the stadium...runs directly into 95. Best access is from Conway...it gets a bit jammed up after the games, but not too badly. Greene St...on the westside of the stadium...turns into the BW Parkway and has an exit onto 95...

The best location/selection for rooms just a bit south would be the BWI airport hotels...just 10 or 15 minutes from the Yards...

Another thing for kids...of all ages...The ship tours. Coast Guard Cutter Taney, US Sub Torsk...and of course, the Constellation, are all open to the public...
