Golden sands

We are considering staying at the Golden Sands condos.

Unit # 301. Has anyone stayed there before? We were wondering if they are clean. Are the amendities as nice as shown on their website? Also, how long does it take to get to the boardwalk from there? We are planning on going to Fenwick Island and possibly Bethany Beach while there. Any tips on places to go or things to do?

Golden sands

We rented a condo thru cbvacations at the Golden Sands last year and our condo was very nice %26amp; clean. The building does offer alot of amentities but with the beach and pool we didn%26#39;t use alot of them. My biggest complaint is the elevators which are very very slow and everytime we had to wait. When checking in the line for the elevators was clear out in the parking lot. Overall I think you%26#39;ll enjoy the Sands.

The boardwalk is about a 10 minute ride tops. It%26#39;s alot quicker to drive down than to take the bus. We took the bus once and it took about an hour. Not good with hungry children.

Hope that helps!

Thank you kamcraz for the information.

We had the same problem in Myrtle Beach. Too many people not enough of elveators. You would htink they would have enough elevators for the amount of units in the building.

We will check-in but retrieve our luggage after the rush. Also, packing the car the night before check out makes it an easier check out.

You%26#39;re very welcome - I hope you have a great trip!

I%26#39;m staying away from the elevators. Last year we stayed at the Quay, right next door to the Golden Sands (which we%26#39;re staying at this year) and righ as we were getting in the door, the fire alarms went off. Turns out, all the buildings on the street were without power.. transformer blew.. Soo.. I%26#39;m very glad I was not stuck on that elevator. I%26#39;m taking the steps! LOL (we%26#39;re only on the 5th floor, hopefully we don%26#39;t have too much stuff)
