We will be driving down on Saturday, the main point is to go to an Orioles Game. My husband wants to do the stadium tour, Babe Ruth museum and Hall of Fame. We%26#39;ll go to Boog%26#39;s and the night game. I%26#39;m interested in anything historical, and would love some live Irish music Saturday night.
So I am guessing I don%26#39;t have to be on the waterfront for what we want to do. I have narrowed the choices to the Hamton Inn and the Marriott, both at Camden Yards. Which would be better at this time? Is there a pub with in walking distance? Or do I need to be on the waterfront for all of that?
Thanks for your help!

Camden Yards trip: Hamton Inn or Marriott?
Hampton Inn. It is located right next to the Babe Ruth Museum. Rates are reasonable and it is actually closer to the stadium. The hotel has a fresh baseball themed decor. They have discount coupons to the museum if you just ask at the front desk. The hampton is located on the same block with 2 bars and a block away from Quigley%26#39;s (sounds irish), which is on Portland.
Both hotels are about 6 blocks from the Harbor. An easy walk or cheap cab, whichever you choose. If you want waterfront, you will pay $100 more.
Good luck.

I agree....go for the Hampton Inn. Pickles Pub is a long 50 steps away from the hotel door......Camden Yards is across the street. The hotel is new and in great shape.
Several pubs within walkind distance, but none featuring live Irish music.
But if you really want to seek that out it%26#39;s not too far of a trip to a couple of places.
Mick O%26#39;Sheas pub on N. Charles Street is one place, they have live music on weekends, and tomorrow they The Spalpeens.

James Joyce pub on President Street near LIttle Italy would probably have music, but it may or may not be Irish enough for you.
I%26#39;d recommend J. Patrick%26#39;s Pub in Locust Point but the more I think about it it%26#39;s been at least 3-4 years since I was in the place so I%26#39;ll leave it alone lol.
