Hi,
We%26#39;ll be going to annapolis this saturday %26amp; sunday. We%26#39;ve gotten some great dinner and lunch ideas from old posts on this forum, but we%26#39;d really love a good breakfast -- maybe even a brunch-- before we leave on sunday. Any ideas??
Thanks
Breakfast/Brunch suggestions??
Hi,
We recently (April 07) went to the Riverview Inn in Galesville for Sunday Brunch.
This is a renovated restaurant on the water in Galesville, just a few miles south of Annapolis. The original restaurant, the Topsider, had been damaged by Hurricane Isabel several years ago and was closed for quite a while. I think the Riverview has been open not too long. We have not been there since it re-opened so we decided to try it out.
What we liked: no all-you-can - eat buffet (with enough calories to last the week) but rather a nice choice of breakfasts such as crab cake Benedict. We were seated quickly at the window, enjoyed the West River view and had pleasant service.
A very positive experience. I think the Riverview Brunch has not been discovered yet. They didn%26#39;t have many people there but the waitress said they are crowded in the evenings.
We had gone somewhere else in Annapolis a few weeks before that for brunch and the place was mobbed with big families tucking into the all-you could eat buffet line. Not for us!!! Glad we found the Riverview.

Have been to Carroll%26#39;s Creek a few times and enjoyed that. Haven%26#39;t been back in a few years so I don%26#39;t know if it%26#39;s still up to par. It%26#39;s right in downtown Annapolis on the water.
By the way i%26#39;m was there for sunday brunch.
