I heard this before and I thinks its a great description of eternity. One person was asked the question what is eternity? and a wise man replied:

If you would give a bird just 1 grain of sand and the bird would fly to the fartherest part of heaven and drop the grain of sand and fly back to earth and do it again. When every grain of sand was gone that would be
