Ocean city Maryland , Ocean city NJ

What are the differences? we usually go to Ocean city and Cape May NJ. The one draw back of Ocean city NJ for us is that the food stinks. We have to drive to Cape may to eat. Does anyone know how the food in OC Maryland compares to Jersey shore restaurants?

Depending on what kind of food you are looking for really. If it%26#39;s seafood than i would have to say that OCMD has very good food. There is the traditional boardwalk food-pizza,BBQ beef sandwhiches, crab cakes, hamburgers ect...

Resturants are extremly plentiful and I think the food is very good. Thats all we talk about on the drive down is what were going to eat and where we are going to go.

I live in NJ and still prefer to visit OCMD.

Thanks payton. if you live in Jersey and have eaten at the shore then you know good sea food. I am lookind for sea food but the problem is I am deathly allergic to shell fish. Any good sea food places that do not MAINLY serve crab cakes?

Maryland as you know is famous for there crabs. Thats a really good question. I know there is many places that serve many choices of seafood, not just crab.

Check out this web site http://www.ocean-city.com/

go to resturants and you can actually look at some menus.

Fagers Island and Gallery 2 are my favorite. The site does not list every resturant because once your down there if you made a 360 degree turn you would probably find 3 or 4 resturants. Seafood, american, Italian. And they have more all you can eat places than you could imagine.

More so than food, many find the biggest difference between the two Ocean Citys is that OCNJ is dry--no alcohol is sold. Depending on what you%26#39;re looking for in a beach resort, that alone is either a dealmaker or dealbreaker.

The food in OCMD is GREAT!!! Over 100 restaurants. Some of my favorites in each category is:
