We are a family of 4 (kids 10 %26amp; 13, both girls) looking at renting a condo in OC the end of June. We have found many listings, but know nothing about the condos and the residents/renters.
Can anyone recommend a condo in that area for us to rent? We are looking for something where the girls can meet friends and where we can meet people to hang out with (we are in our 40%26#39;s).
Thanks for any advise...
We%26#39;ve seen rentals for the Quay and the Sea Watch...just don%26#39;t know much

Do you want to stay downtown by b%26#39;walk or up north closer to delaware?
I think we%26#39;d like North...looking at the Seawatch or Quay. Any opinions or can you recommend another?
We could also stay mid town/downtown...haven%26#39;t been to OC since the early 80%26#39;s. I%26#39;m sure things have changed...
The North end is quiter, I believe it%26#39;s more family oriented. When we have family/friends that come into town we send them over to the EconoLodge.(146st/oceanside) Here is why: they have a pool with wait staff service, they have a bar with great happy hour music/drink specials, the breakfast at the hotel (rio grande) is the best around. Also there are kids things to do within walking distance (mini-golf, go-karts, etc..) Nick%26#39;s house of ribs is next door. I have family that is your age with kids ranging from 5-14 and once they stayed there they haven%26#39;t stayed anywhere else since, about 5 yrs now. If you do not like that, there are a few places in the area of 142st like Hawaiian Village that has rentals. Hope this was helpful. Enjoy the summer.
What about on ';condo row'; between 9400 and the Carousel?
Coldwell Banker has the most listings in OC. We have used them for many years to book condo rentals. http://www.cbvacations.com/ You can get a unit on oceanblock or bay side at a decent price, plus you have the advantage of a full kitchen if you want to eat in some meals. OC is pretty family oriented if you stay away from boardwalk area, that can get a little loud. Anything from 54th St to the deleware border should suit you fine.
we stayed at the seawatch last year (family of 4, two kids, 3 and 1) and we are staying at the Plaza this year. We went the last week of August; as MD schools are already back, the rates drop a lot that week. we had a fantastic 3 bedroom 3 bathroom condo for $1k for the week; as it went up to $1500 for this year, we booked a 3 bedroom 3 bathrrom at the plaza for $1k for the same week this year (its smaller, but will be big enough).
the Quay is nice, but I am not sure that it has three bedroom units.
check the caldwell banker website noted above as well as this one

good luck!
We have stayed at the Marigot the last few years, it is next store to the Clarion at around 101 st. It has an indoor pool. Units we have stayed in are very well kept. It really depends on the owner of the unit more than the building itself for how happy you will be with a particular condo unit.

You might want to check out with some realtors. Some condos that I do know of is The Quay and Seawatch like you have listed. Go to www.ocean-city.com and go to the real estate page. They%26#39;ll have a list of real estate agencies and you might want to go to Coldwell Bankers website because you can search what your looking for and they will give you some choices.
Hope this helps!!!
thanks...we have found someone to rent from at the Seawatch! Can%26#39;t wait!
