Need advice which hotel too stay in..

We are coming down the weekend of June 22nd for a basketball tourney. IT will be two adults and 2 children (9yrs)..We are looking for a clean nice hotel with a pool.

We have been offered the Clarion for 170 dollars a night. Has anyone stayed at this hotel? Is it nice? I know it is a decent deal.

WE could also stay the Tidelands for 195.00 and Francis Scott Key also has some rooms available..I believe the Econolodge has rooms for around the same price.. For a little bit extra I could stay in a penthouse room at Castle in the sands..

Was just wondering what your thoughts were..where would be my best bet?

Francis Scott is good but you%26#39;ll have to drive to the beach (across the bridge) but I do beleive they have shuttle back in forth for their customers. Has good reviews.

Tidelands would be my choice, has two pools one with a pool bar/resturant. Tidelands on 5th st. and right on the boardwalk, walking distance to all main attractions.

The Clarion is located in the northern end of town.

It is a more corporate type of hotel. Large, many rooms with restaurants, shops and pools.

Not a bad place for the money.

The Tidelands is located on the Boards at 5th for my money in June it might be a little loud and busy in there area into the night.

In June with two 9 year olds not my first choice.

The Econolodge is located at the very northern end of town near the MD-Del. border.

A little out of the way and a long trip down to the Boardwalk if you were planning to visit the Boardwalk.

It does get fairly good reviews.

Finally the Francis Scott Key is not located in OC but outside town along route 50.

You would have to drive into town or take the hotel provided shuttle.

I would lean towards the Clarion and then the Econolodge in that order for my choice.

tidelands for shure

Clarion is at the northern end of town, too far to walk to the best part of the boardwalk. (you%26#39;ll need to drive then or take boardwalk tram) Tidelands is not loud at all, I%26#39;ve stayed in the side view and the ocean view and the best part of the room is sitting on the balcony in the evening watching people walk the boards.

Castle in the Sand I%26#39;ve heard is okay if but my order is

Tidelands

Castle in the Sands

Not even consider the other two.
