Happy Hour?

Never tried happy hour down Ocean City but want to this year. Any suggestions for food and or drink specials? Also looking for a interesting mixed drink. Always been mostly a beer drinker lol. Thank you all for your time and suggestions

Head to Seacrets for the day. Hang out in the water on a tube but you must try the dirty banana there. Awesome drink,

Dirty Bananas are tremendous cocktails, one of the few I enjoy...BUT...unless they use a banana to make them...they are not the real deal. Banana liquor just doesn%26#39;t cut it.

Now...Seacrets prides itself on being a Jamaican friendly spot...and every bar I%26#39;ve been in Jamaica uses bananas for the drink...so one can hope...

Unless things have changed in the last year or so, Seacrets does use real bananas in the Dirty Banana. Could be that they did change this, but I can always remember a bunch of very ripe bananas sitting around at each bar just for this purpose.

OCPhill...grab any of the half dozen or so free weekly papers when you get into town. Inside these free papers will be all kinds of advertisements for all the happy hour and other drink specials from all the popular watering holes in OC.

They do use fresh bananas, and yes grab those fee papers, they advertise all happy hour hot spots.

Unless you want a disease from the water at seacrets--stay out. I graduated from college a year ago and I%26#39;ve seen more than I ever wanted to see in the waters at Seacrets. Frankly they are overpriced on everything. Try Castaways--they have a great happy hour menu. I also am pretty partial to Green Turtle--the people that go there are quite entertaining!

Best happy hour in my opinion is Smitty McGees, just over the line in DE.

Tequila Mockingbird has great food and a happy hour. You gotta pick up the local papers for the deals. Also, the coupon book for OC has specials. My fav is the free beer at the Greene Turtle.

What%26#39;s a ';good'; happy hour in everyone%26#39;s opinion? .I mean a lot of people ';bash'; Seacrets for being too expensive, but they now decent beer prices for the beach IMHO. Just saw an add in the local paper...

Got this recipe down in Key West. It%26#39;s called a Dark and Stormy and IT IS GOOD. Very refreshing.

1 ounce Gosling Black Seal Rum

Ginger Beer

Wedge of lime

Fill glass with ice pour in rum then ginger beer. Squeaze lime into drink and enjoy. I am just a beer drinker but once I had one of these I%26#39;m hooked.

dunno how many bars around here have ginger beer! but it%26#39;s worth asking
