Can anyone please tell me what to expect for the week of July 4th? We are going and staying on the boardwalk. I hear it will be crowded, any tips? I%26#39;ll have a 7 yr. old with me. Thanks!

It will be unbelievably crowded. Its the busiest time of year there. Get on the beach early if you want a spot. It will also be pretty hot. They shoot fireworks off though right off the boardwalk so enjoy. Other than that plan on doing everything a little earlier to avoid the crowds!

If you are watching the fireworks on the boardwalk or on the beach at the boardwalk, when they are over make sure you hang on tight to your 7 year old because you will hardly be able to squeeze through to get to where you are going. The crowd is unbelievable.
