A nice Hotel for four nights from the inlet to 40th?

Hello, I am searching for a nice oceanfront hotel to stay at in Ocean City, MD for the last weekend in July. There will be 3 adults and one child. I would like to stay somewhere roughly between the inlet and 40th street. I haven%26#39;t been to OC in 8-9 years and previously we have only stayed from Saturday to Saturday at the Sea Gate (on 30th), so I really have no idea where would be a good place for only four nights.

Also, can you give me an idea of how much to expect to spend per night?

tfunky, thanks for the reply! I will check out that site you mentioned. 200-300 per night is ok, I just don%26#39;t want to go much higher than 300-350 per night.

We stayed on 25th street at the Crystal Beach Hotel. It%26#39;s right on the boardwalk, has a small oceanfront pool. It%26#39;s considered the quiet end of the boardwalk, but restaurants, shops, rides, mini golf are all within walking distance. www.ocean-city.com is a good place to start your search. We stayed at Crystal Beach the first year they were open, it was very nice, clean, we had great service. Not sure of the price now, sorry. Have fun.

Read the reviews here - there is some great info. I have stayed at Tidelands Caribbean, which sounds like it would fit your needs - it is clean and comfy, and should be in the right price range.
