Cheap Day-Parking in Baltimore

Hi,

I would be visiting Baltimore this sunday. I would be driving from Bethesda,MD and would like to park my car near inner harbour/aquarium during the day. Late evening I would be driving to Bethlehem,PA at my friend%26#39;s place.

So any good/cheap places to park near attractions in Baltimore?

TIA

Cheap Day-Parking in Baltimore

There aren%26#39;t any. All of the parking in the inner harbor area is ridiculously expensive because there is a shortage. The best you%26#39;ll be able to do is find metered parking somewhere in the business district up from the harbor- but good luck with that!

Have you thought about parking at a light rail station somewhere and taking the light rail downtown?

You could also park in the garage in Fells Point and take the water taxi over to the inner harbor (but the water taxi costs $8, so that might blow your savings right there!) Fells Point is also a 15 min walk from the inner harbor, so you could walk it.

Cheap Day-Parking in Baltimore

Sunday%26#39;s don%26#39;t have the same rates as during the business week.

We just went on Sunday and it was $5.00 all day parking up until I believe 6 pm.

There are several garages and parking lots. We parked at an open parking lot on Baltimore street. It%26#39;s by Central Parking. It%26#39;s exactly 4 blocks walking down to the inner harbor. Also as we walked down we saw several garages that costs no more than $7.00 all day. Most were about $6.50. As you drive on Pratt Street and drive up any of the streets accross/adjacent from the harbor you will see several of them.

Thanks a lot for the advice! Yeah, you are right, there aren%26#39;t any cheap parking areas. All are around $18. Fells Point garage is $3 for the whole Sunday, so seems a great deal. I will walk to the nearby attractions as I have 3 more ppl with me, so water-taxi would be too costly for me.
