A great state to visit!

can you elaborate? it almost sounds like the old ';great place to visit, but i wouldn%26#39;t want to live there'; LOL

i love my state very much %26amp; think it%26#39;s probably one of the most under-rated places in the country! ';america in miniature'; indeed!

i have an internet friend from maine who had never been in maryland at ALL till two years ago, when she drove through the western maryland mountains enroute to ohio...she wrote to me ';i always thought of maryland as a %26#39;hum-drum%26#39; sort of place but the scenery on that road was INCREDIBLE!!!';

and of course she never saw the beauty of the rest of the state!

also, my best friend%26#39;s husband (californian born %26amp; raised) resisted coming for a visit for years...he%26#39;d been to pittsburgh once %26amp; actually said ';the east coast has nothing to offer me'; LOL....since then he%26#39;s seen western maryland, the eastern shore %26amp; assateague, not to mention the green rolling hills of carroll, frederick %26amp; baltimore counties....he%26#39;s a convert!
